Severe Macaw AttitudeI have a pair of Severe macaws, surgically sexed as male and female and no reason not to breed. EXCEPT they are obnoxious. they don't hurt each other but they are loud and mean to each other and me. I separated them to get some peace. I have been told that Macaw breeding pairs, large or small, are just grouchie and unpleasant. I hate to think that is true.

Found a bird
Hi,
This is the time of year baby birds are jumping out of the nest to test their flying skills. If the baby bird is not injured, just leave it alone. It's parents can't pick it up, so if you want to move it to a higher branch, that is fine. But the parents will feed it and watch over it. Let the little bird learn to fly and be wild. Leaving bird seed and water out for the birds is a great way to encourage the parents to come around. And just because you don't see the parents doesn't mean that they are not close by watching.

I found a baby bird don't know what it is? HELP
I found a bird and left it for a couple of hours to see if its mother would come get it - no such luck!! I live around a bunch of redwood trees, the birds around my home are mostly blue and black I think acorn woodpeckers. The baby bird I found has long legs, with a claw that rolls under the outer claws. A yellow long beak and dark grey feathers. Is singing when it hears other birds outside singing. What should I do?
