Sadie

I just re-homed Sadie with a wonderful family in Lake Charles Louisiana. I packed up Sadie in a medium dog transport kennel, with food, water and her teddy bear. Sadie is three, cuddly and talks constantly. she also chewed 2/3 of the way through a red wood beam in our aviary.
Pet Therapy

I was very proud of my "old goat". We are now working on therapy pet birds, goats, miniature horse and llama. Children respond wonderfully to the animals.
Animal assisted therapy using a GOAT !
Jean and I worked together in my animal assisted therapy clinic while I was living in Parker County. She graciously agreed to bring her GOAT as a trial animal to see the results.
Well, it was, indeed, a success. The children welcomed Dexter the goat, offering him feed and Dexter, in turn, provided, socialization and language opportunities. I was fortunate to have a faculty member from UNT who is a speech language pathologist working with me at the time. Lots of language, cognition, articulation, socialization and also FUN, were facilitated that day !
